Recognising, responding to, and referring Men who use family violence

Please note this workshop is not designed to equip participants with the skills required to engage in men’s behaviour change/counselling/therapeutic work.

Designed for health, allied health, higher education, childcare, and community frontline workers in Australia who
have previously completed and gained competency in any of the accredited DV-alert workshops or eLearning.

During the one-day workshop you will learn to:

• Understand the drivers and dynamics of men’s domestic and family violence,
• Engage appropriately with men who use family violence and
• Use best practice methods to refer men who use family violence onto the most appropriate support service.
