5 Strategies for having tough conversations

Tuesday the 17th of Feb, 2026, 10am

After years of supporting Tasmanian workplaces, we know that high-performing teams aren't defined by an absence of conflict, but by how they navigate it. Thriving cultures are built on the ability to have honest, courageous, and clear dialogue when it matters most.

Cut through the discomfort to focus on the core strategies that transform difficult discussions into opportunities for growth and resolution:

  • Preparation (The ACTION Framework)

  • Objectivity & Fact-Basing

  • Active Listening

  • Emotional Regulation

  • Collaborative Resolution
